Our Story
JSL Engineering was established in December 1996 by John S. Lovrovich, PE. He has been practicing as a licensed Professional Engineer since 1991 and holds a Master’s of Science Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Washington State University. For nearly 5 years, John acted as Project Manager with a local engineering firm in Moscow, Idaho responsible for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects. Prior to this, he served for nearly two years as Project Engineer with an engineering company in Lewiston, Idaho. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member for the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department and the Department of Architecture at Washington State University (WSU).
Since 2002, JSL Engineering LLC has been providing our services to clients within Moses Lake, Grant County and surrounding regions, as well as projects as far as Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and California.

Our Team
John Lovrovich Principal Engineer / Founder
About: John strives to effectively coordinate and communicate with the diverse stakeholders involved in each project. Throughout each phase of every project he works closely alongside the JSL team, contractors, and project owners to ensure that services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
With JSL Engineering’s focus on building design, civil and site design, and structural engineering design, John oversees and directs all aspects of project design and drafting within the company.
Roger Chamberlain Senior Draftsmen
About: Roger Chamberlain is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of drafting. With a dedicated tenure of 8 years at JSL Engineering, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to excellence and passion for his work.
Throughout his time at JSL Engineering, Roger has made invaluable contributions to the successful execution of numerous projects, having worked on hundreds of diverse assignments. His extensive experience and proficiency in land surveying further bolster his comprehensive understanding of the engineering domain.
Parker Hill Staff Engineer
About: Parker graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Brigham Young University – Idaho in April 2022 and is certified as an Engineer in Training (EIT) in Washington state. Parker has hands-on experience in site surveying, drafting, and civil design.
Since joining the team, he’s been involved in a range of projects, contributing a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to every step of the process.
Nick Lovrovich Accountant
About: As the accountant, Nick manages financial records, facilitates transactions, and ensures compliance with financial regulations.
Nick earned his Bachelor’s in Finance and a Minor in Economics from Eastern Washington University. This educational background equips him with a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and economic dynamics. One of his core duties is to ensure that every financial transaction is executed seamlessly and efficiently, keeping our clients always at top of mind.
Tom Lovrovich Admin.
About: Tom serves in an administrative role, dedicated to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office environment. With his unwavering commitment to handling miscellaneous office tasks, Tom plays a pivotal role in maintaining the company’s daily operations.
In addition to his crucial administrative tasks, Tom also works alongside the company’s field topographical surveying team when necessary.
